Meet the Staff

Lori
Lori has been working for Dr. Barone since 1988. She is certified with the Dental Assisting National Boards and worked as an orthodontic assistant for her first 18 years in orthodontics. In 2006, she became the office coordinator. Lori feels a deep sense of reward knowing that she is responsible for all aspects of the office running smoothly and efficiently with all the systems that are in place. She feels very fortunate to be working for a doctor who shows such care, compassion, loyalty and devotion to his patients. Lori has received certification in radiology and CPR. She also has certificates in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, phlebotomy, and is an EKG technician. Lori attends numerous educational courses to keep abreast of the latest technology, along with the newest orthodontic techniques.
Lori is a native of Rhode Island and has a son, Michael. She and her husband, Gene, have two dogs, Baxter and Candace, along with their cat, Sweetie. She is very involved in the live entertainment industry and loves golf.
Donna
Donna joined Dr. Barone's practice in 1987 as our treatment coordinator. She is a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School and is certified with the Dental Assisting National Boards. She also maintains certificates in treatment coordinating, radiology and CPR. Donna attends numerous professional development courses each year to stay current with the latest treatment standards. Donna embraces the challenges of working in an orthodontic practice, and enjoys working as a team to care for patients and help them achieve healthy smiles that will last a lifetime. Donna feels that Dr. Barone is committed to his patientsā orthodontic needs; he is trusted and caring, with years of experience creating beautiful smiles.
Donna and her husband live in Providence. They have two children and two grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys taking martial arts classes, cooking and spending time with her family.
Marilyn
Marilyn has lived in North Providence her whole life, and she has been married to her high school sweetheart, Anthony, for almost 40 years. She is a graduate of North Providence High School and has had training in the fabrication of plaster models, retainers, and retainer repairs, under the tutorage of Dr. Barone, since she first started working in the practice in 1983. She has attended classes in Connecticut for the use of the Biostar vacuum machine for fabrication of Essix retainers and Invisalign, as well as numerous continuing education classes in the many years that she's worked at the practice. Marilyn enjoys the challenges of working in a fast-paced office, appreciates the empowerment given to her by her office coordinator, and the camaraderie of her co-workers. She admires Dr. Barone for his intelligence in his field, as well as in all his other endeavors, and she appreciates his drive for perfection.
Marilyn has one daughter, Nicole, an event planner at South County Hospital, a son-in-law, Peter, owner of Manfredos Gym, and a granddog, named Bullet. Marilyn, in her free time, enjoys gardening, knitting, Pilates, attending boxing events, and watching QVC and Fox News.
Imma
Imma has worked for Dr. Barone as a permanent part-time secretary since October, 1983. She enjoys the everyday challenges of her position, and her co-workers have become special friends. She compliments Dr. Barone with being one who strives for optimum results with patients, staff, and office systems, and considers him to be pleasant, good-natured and a fine boss.
She is a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. She is certified in Microsoft Word, and has attended continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in technology.
Imma is an avid Red Sox fan and enjoys spending time with her family: her son, Anthony and his wife, Gina, and her son David, and his wife Edwarda, and her two granddaughters, Brianna and Mya. She also has a granddog, "Bella."
She lives in Lincoln, RI, with her husband Anthony.
Lucienne (Lou)
Lou has been working for Dr. Barone for 30 years and enjoys her job very much. She feels that she knows Dr. Barone so well that she can almost read his mind while assisting him. Her co-workers have become like her second family. Lou became certified with the Dental Assisting National Boards over 25 years ago. She has attended numerous continuing education courses, including Dale Carnegie. Prior to her employment with Dr. Barone, Lou worked in general dentistry and oral surgery practices for many years.
Lou lives with her husband, Alan, in North Smithfield, and they have four grown children who are all married, along with their ten wonderful and loving grandchildren with whom she and her husband love spending time with as much as possible.
Sherry
Sherry is a dental and administrative assistant who has been working for Dr. Barone since 2006. She is certified in radiology and CPR. Sherry is a graduate of East Providence High School and Lincoln Technical Institute and currently lives in Pawtucket. She enjoys meeting all of our unique patients, and enjoys helping them create the one-of-a-kind smiles they deserve. Sherry also appreciates her team, and the way each person is able to work together to make the patients feel welcome, well take care of, and confident with their new smiles.
Sherry and her boyfriend, Dave, have a Chihuahua, named Peanut. When she's not at the practice, Sherry enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and Peanut.
Jessica
Jessica is a dental assistant who has been working for Dr. Barone since 2007. She is a graduate of Johnston High School and Lincoln Technical Institute, where she received her dental assisting certificate. She is also radiology and CPR certified. Jessica enjoys the professional and social environment of Dr. Barones office. She finds her interaction with patients of all ages to be a great learning experience that she will carry with her through the years.
She spends her free time rollerblading, biking, and exercising and enjoys spending time with her three-year-old niece, Mia.
Diane
Diane, a graduate of Rhode Island College, with double majors in business administration and psychology has been "comptroller" since the practice opened in 1977. Diane enjoys working in the orthodontic field, and especially loves the way technology has been incorporated into the practice over the years to make treatments and administrative tasks much more efficient.
Gardening, golf, skiing and traveling occupy Dianes free time. She especially loves spending time with her family, and her grandson, Jacob.
